Show Notes:

I get asked all the time, "What should I be buying for my first classroom?" and so today, I thought it would be fun to talk about twelve of the essentials that I recommend teachers consider purchasing as they prepare for the school year.

Also, I know it’s easy to get swept up in all kinds of fun things to purchase for your classroom, but I can't stress enough the importance of making sure that you have all of the basics first. 😊

We're going to talk about some of those basics today, but I encourage you to go ahead and download my back to school shopping list if you don't already have a copy of it because it does list all of the basic office supplies and staples that you're going to need daily inside your classroom.

You can grab my freebie, The Elementary Teacher’s Ultimate Back to School Shopping List: Everything You Need to Set Up Your First Classroom by clicking the pic below!

I hope that this episode (and this freebie) is helpful for you as you start thinking through how to best prepare for your first, second, or third year of teaching.

Click here to check out my Ultimate Amazon Wishlist for New Teachers so you can scoop up some of the goodies we talked about inside this episode. Until next time, remember, just because you're a beginning elementary teacher, there's no need for you to struggle like one.
