Show Notes:
This week’s quick hack is perfect timing with Valentine’s Day coming up soon. It’s called Cupcake Points.
Yes, it’s kind of funny that I’m sharing this right after I shared about my weight loss journey on episode 153 of the podcast! So if you know that cupcakes are your weakness like they are mine, you’ll want to plan for this indulgence by getting a little extra exercise in that day. 😊
Here’s how the cupcake points hack works:
Templates for this hack are now available inside Dr. Lori's Dollar Store! Just click the picture below to grab them for only $1.00. 😊
These cupcake points are such a fun hack to use to keep your kiddos motivated and on-track with your routines and procedures inside your classroom. This is especially fun if you use pink and red clipart cupcakes for Valentine's Day and reward your kiddos with mini Valentine's cupcakes on the big day!
Please let me know if you have tried this hack in your classroom! Share your pictures and and tag me on Instagram @beginningteachertalk or post inside our Beginning Teacher Talk private Facebook group.

I hope this information is helpful as you prepare for your first, second, or third year of teaching. Until next time, remember, just because you're a beginning elementary teacher, there's no need for you to struggle like one.
