In this first episode of The Impossible Standards Series, Dr. Lori challenges the belief that students should consistently follow every routine and expectation after being taught only once. She explains why behavior and classroom routines are learned skills that require modeling, practice, feedback, reteaching, and logical consequences—just like academic skills. You’ll also learn how a focused classroom management reset can help you strengthen one challenging routine, respond more predictably when students test boundaries, and rebuild calm and confidence without starting the entire school year over.
